I follow @freeflowyogi on instagram and also attend her classes when I can. One evening in stories, I saw this clawfoot bathtub in her backyard & her daughter playing in the light around it, and it just sprung out of me— I DM’d her before I got too scared to ask. (I over think things sometimes 😉.) I asked if we could do a project together. A passion project!
Of course she asked her daughter if she wanted to take pictures with me one summer evening in the bathtub. Lucky me, she said “yes”!

There’s something so rewarding about fulfilling your own ideas. It sparks an energy and excitement in making it come to fruition. Even if they don’t come out as expected, I learn from them, which makes them worth it. These didn’t come out as I expected, they came out better! Life hack: don’t expect things to begin with. 😉

My intention now is to listen to my “crazy” ideas more often when it comes to photography and not be afraid to ask people to work with me to make it happen.

I had so much fun with this fun-loving sweet girl. Her eyes! I could stare in them for days. She was the BEST model. I’m so grateful for her open heart. We were both meeting each other for the first time and she placed trust in me, which makes my heart smile.

I am liking this #scrlgallery app too! It’s allowing me to showcase images in an artistic storytelling way.

I’ve already seen a handful of families. It’s been really fun. I’ll share some favorites from those sessions soon. Even though it’s still pretty much 90 degrees everyday, I can feel fall in the air in brief moments. I love it. It’s the best season for sunset beach sessions. Spoiler alert of what’s to come. 😉

She was nervous about our session, I was too, but we ended up having so much fun together. These are her Senior Pictures. I might have a new passion brewing with this senior portrait thing? I always thought senior pictures came out too posed, but if you’re into a more natural style, we could be a good match.
